5th June 2008 – Free Medical Camp
Siddhartha Sharma Charitable Trust (Regd.) organized 36th Free mega medical Camp at Sharma Hospital, Mall Road, Kapurthala on 05-06-2008 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. where more than sixteen thousand patients have been checked up till now and free medicines have been provided to all needful. Patients are examined by Medical Specialist Dr. Bimal Sharma, Child Specialist Dr. Abha Mudgil Sharma, Dr. Manisha Sharma MD (USA), ENT Specialist Dr. Aman Kapila, Skin Specialist Dr. Princejit, Dr. Sandeep Bhola, Gynaecologist Dr. Parminder Kaur, Dental Dr. Shyla Bhola and Eye Specialist Dr. Sandeep Dhawan.
The free medical camp was declared open by Sh J.M. Balamurugan IAS DC Kapurthala.
Special Guests included Sh. Rakesh Aggarwal IPS SSP Kapurthala and Sh Ashok Nayyar Civil Surgeon Kapurthala.
Free Test were done. they included FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar), ECG, Mammography, Doppler test, Digital Neuropathy. All were done by super-specialist. Free Medicines were also given to all patients.
On spot painting and essay writing competition was also organized and prizes were given to winner entries each from essay and painting competition. Topics were Global Warming, Female Foeticide and Drug De-Addiction. Certificates were given to all prize winners.
