To serve the humanity Siddhartha Sharma charitable Trust started to organize Free Medical Camps & to provide health services to the poor who often don’t have access or the resources to good health services. We also Help Children in various Fields Of Education. Following is a concise description of what all we have done so far. It’s a brief Overview of the services we have offered to the common man.
The 1st Free Medical Camp was organized on 16th August 2005 in which we offered services like ECG (Digital), Blood Sugar Test, Bone Density Scan, Free Medicines & many other services. Till the date 5/2/2008 – 32 Free Medical Camps have been successfully organized.
Talks given for preventions of diseases healthy diet & exercises. Lectures given on behalf of Trust to various colleges, forming association with services Authority, Indian Reed Cross Kapurthala, Rotary Club Kapurthala.
Free Yoga Camp held at District Jail Kapurthala on behalf trust in association with Legal service Authority. 5th Nov 2005 – Healthy Baby competition was held along with free medical checkup camp.
5th March 2006 – Nephrology Camp for Kidney Diseases. 30th May 2006- Inter School Painting & essay writing competition- regarding AIDS/Environmental Pollution/ Drug
5th June 2006 – Trophies given to winners. Free Mammography camp for Breast Cancer in association with ROKO CANCER, MKC Trust, U.K. Courtesy: Brig Sukhjit Singh (Ex Maharaja of Kapurthala)
Yoga Camp for children- 18 days held in the month of October 2006, by Yog Guru where Sh. Raghubir Singh Ex Minister Rana Gurjit Singh M.P. Jalandhar Participated.
5th June 2007 Annual Camp Where Honb’le Minister of Education , Justice Minister , Punjab Dr. Upinderjit Kaur Ji, announced a grant of 1 Lakh to the Trust . She appreciated the efforts & services rendered by the trust.
Dr. Mr. J.M. BalaMurugaon IAS (D.C. Kpt) , Mr Rakesh Aggarwal IPS (SSP Kpt), Mr. A.K Sharma (Judge Consumer Court) , Dr Ashok Nayyar (Civil Surgeon) & Others were also present and appreciated the efforts the trust had done.
16th Aug 2007 – Eye checkup & operation camp 26th Monthly Camp was held. DC – Mr. J M Balamurugaon SSP – Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal Civil Surgeon – Dr Ashok Nayyar.
In association NRI UK,Mr. R. L Mehta, Dr Anil Mehta 450 people were examined & given medicine, 27 Operations were performed and Lens replaced all free of cost.
